Serrote Notebook – log Dimensions: 17cm x 11,5 cm (6,7 in x 4,5 in) Cover: white paper 250gr/m2 Bookblock: yellow ochre paper 80gr/m2; 80 pages;  pattern printed in offset. Limited edition: 2000 copies This is the twentieth notebook made by Serrote. If the first edition of the log notebook had a tangential cut, this one has a transverse cut. You can count the rings, and learn the history of this log, and also check if it spent warm winters and rainy summers. Weather is changing... The cover was printed in letterpress in two colors and the inside wood grain was printed in offset. Under the name Serrote, Lisbon based couple and graphic designers Nuno Neves and Susana Vilela publish these limited edition letterpress notebooks using vintage Heidelberg Windmill presses. The designs themselves are somehow both modern and nostalgic, cleverly referencing elements of popular Portuguese culture such as restaurant tablecloths or striped beach cabanas. 40 double sided pages per notebook.
