Our Biomedical Engineering Department went over it from top to bottom and it is now in perfect working order. We disassembled it, cleaned it, lubricated it and then reassembled it, tested and calibrated it. We then touched up some minor scratches and now it looks as good as it performs. This Sakura embedding center has all the features you may possibly want in a top of the line embedding center. The cold plate cools down in minutes and creates a nice frosty cover. The dispenser pours the melted paraffin out of the spout smoothly. The work area is lit and heated to capture any spills on the tray below. The storage areas are temperature controlled. This embedding center is ready to be put to good use in your lab.
