Our Biomedical Engineering Department disassembled it, cleaned it, lubricated it, reassembled it and then tested and calibrated it. It now works as great as it looks. This microtome operates smoothly and quietly and includes a digital counter, a quick release cassette holder and disposable blade holder for low profile blades. As can be seen on the images of this offer, it cuts beautiful ribbons. This microtome is ready to be put to good use in your lab.
