This adding machine has been functionally tested and passed. The ribbon is used with normal daily wear, but still functions properly. Item does come with the A/C adapter, but does NOT come with any rolls of paper for the machine. We test all of our electronic devices ensuring that each one powers on, is functional, and the data is wiped off of it (hard drives). Any devices that require A/C adapters will always be provided along with the item. To give our customers a better understanding of the condition of the item they are purchasing, we have developed the following rating system. Condition:5 N The device is brand new. Device has no crack or missing buttons May have scratches, scuffs, or nicks on the screen or housing 5 Heavy signs of use. Heavy scratches and scuffs on the screen and housing May have dents of chips in the housing 1 Heavy physical damage that affect normal use Broken or cracked LCD screen or glass Missing Buttons (power, home, volumes...)
