The Sharpshooter™ was purposed designed by a team of experts in tungsten grinding and has been continually improved since it's introduction to the market ten years ago. Benefits of the Sharpshooter™ as shown in this sale: FIRST AND FOREMOST, if you are concerned about the dust created by grinding tungsten, and particularly if you are concerned about grinding thoriated tungsten, the Sharpshooter™ safely extracts and stores ALL of the dust. Not some of it, not most of it, ALL of it. And it does so without creating messy liquid slurry's that need to be disposed of or the need for replacing seals and gaskets used on liquid machines. A dust extractor (available separately) must be used with the Sharpshooter to safely extract all the dust. Secondly, the Sharpshooter simply delivers absolutely accurate tungsten electrodes with perfect geometry every time. It is simple to set up and easy to use. It has accurate, repeatable set up fixtures built in. Photo 2 shows the grinding length set up fixture that provides repeatable tip flat size. Photo 3 shows the accurate angle fixture AND HOLD DOWN BAR that delivers repeatable angle geometry even when grinding small diameter tungsten. Photo 4 shows the cut-off station which accurately and safely cuts off each ground tungsten to the desired length. Photo 5 shows the flatting fixture that squares up the end of the tungsten rod prior to starting a new grind. Squaring up the end of the rod before grinding the angle is essential for getting an accurately finished tip. Photo 6 shows the hat that comes with every Sharpshooter™ grinder. This Sharpshooter™ comes with a set of 4 collets for .040, 1/16, 3/32 and 1/8 inch collets. You can change one of these sizes for a 5/32 if you like, or choose any combination of 4 collets that suit your requirements. The Sharpshooter™ is available in either 115V or 230V, 50-60 Hz In the U.S., This Sharpshooter™, Model TSS-2 ships UPS in 1 packages.
