SHIPPING CONTAINER VENTILATION #6X9V Proper Shipping container ventilation is very important to protect your stored goods as well as prevent personal injury. Shipping containers are designed to be airtight and watertight and in general have poor air flow. On the ocean during transport that is a great thing, on dry land a container can build up heat, moisture and fumes. This can cause thousands of dollars damage, injury or even death. This vent is designed to increase your shipping container ventilation to reduce heat, exhaust fumes and moisture buildup. On a 20? container it is suggested that you install two vents and opposite corners to increase air flow. You may need to install up to four shipping container vents or fans inside the vents to increase airflow depending on the kind of issues you are having with your container. Constructed of high quality thick steel these vents are designed to take some abuse. They also have a screen to keep larger bugs and rodents from entering the container.
