I have available several MX392/s mics in excellent condition. These are boundary mics, designed for stage, altar/lectern, and conferencing, but often used for inside kick drums and other concert applications with high-SPL sources. These are currently configured with five-pin XLR connectors to make use of the Logic functions (touch to activate/mute, etc. for conference systems), but can be optionally reconfigured with 3-pin XLR, as MX393, bypassing the logic function, and allowing use with typical stage and studio sound equipment. Willing to negotiate reconfiguring as MX393 and willing to negotiate bulk purchase up to 10 mics, just ask. This listing is for 1 microphone. From Shure: The MX392 from Shure is a surface-mounted, electret condenser microphone. It is designed to be mounted on conference tables, stage floors, and lecterns. Its high sensitivity and wide frequency range makes it especially suitable for picking up speech and vocals in sound reinforcement and recording applications. Interchangeable cartridges provide the installer with greater flexibility and make it possible to easily reconfigure microphone coverage as the need arises. An internal preamplifier is included. MX392 series microphones take advantage of the principle that, at a barrier or boundary, the sound pressure level doubles. When placed near a sufficiently large boundary surface, the microphone has 6 dB higher sensitivity and approximately 3 dB greater direct-to-reverberant sound ratio.
