Fiber Optic cable / dual coaxial  (stainless steel jacket) ~ 10' (3m). Un-boxed and very clean: Unit powers up, and the 'stable' LED blinks passing a reflective target past the 'dark' sensor head. This item is typically used as a 'non-contact' RPM transducer, with its output is fed into a controller / A/D device.  A piece of reflective tape on a gear/pulley triggers the output. Generally a 'presence  / absence'  detector. Designed for harsh environments. Since this is a used piece of electronic gear, I cannot guarantee that it meets published specifications.  Hence sold as is.
