We used the control to pick up and release an object. It built up pressure and released it easily with no problems. The suction at ideal (running without maximizing the lift control) was strong enough that the lift tube contracted and stood straight up without holding it. We squeezed the "brake" lever and did not notice too much of a change in air pressure (only slightly). We are not sure, but it may be an adjustment issue. No further testing was performed.
