Signal Corps Model I-177 Dynamic Mutual Conductance TUBE TESTER, Untested You are bidding on one (1) Signal Corps Model I-177 Dynamic Mutual Conductance TUBE TESTER. It includes the Tube Guide as shown, as well as more documentation as shown. Untested: This tube tester is "as found", untested. Condition of the panel is very good front and back, lettering, sockets, no issues to note. It came from an elder's estate, that had many vintage radios and electronics, all was in pretty good condition, nothing molested. (I stepped on my VOM and destroyed it, so did not even attempt any inspection. I normally would and tell you how far I got.) We offer this as parts or restore, and you might get lucky. The inside is shown in photos and has original "Cosmoline", a Mil-Spec coating that was used frequently during WW2 for shipping metals overseas. This coating has kept the components inside the cabinet very clean. (see photos of inside). There is some corrosion on the steel cabinet near the seams and edges, here and there, cabinet is a good candidate for restoration or to clean up, touch up, and keep as original. The cabinet color is the Military Olive Drab Green color. The Model Number is stamped on the face of the panel, 1-177. The fuse is a bulb style fuse. Not sure where you would get one, but is possible that is the only thing this unit requires. We have not plugged it in, so have no knowledge of previous working condition, or current working condition. We do not self insure damaged shipments. For Priority Mail small flat rate boxes, we have no packing material charge. For anything larger, we include a 1.95 packing material charge, for vintage radios and electronics we add 4.95, and for large items such as table lamps and floor lamps, 7.95 is included. These charges are for the large amount of packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and include new boxes when necessary.
