Silica gel is a granular, vitreous, porous form of silicon dioxide (SiO2 - 60.08 g/mol).  Silica gel may be doped with a moisture indicator that gradually changes its color when it transitions from the anhydrous (dry) state, to the hydrated (wet) state.  Cobalt chloride (CoCl2 ) can be formulated to change from blue to pink. Once saturated with water (pink), the gel can be regenerated by heating it to 120 °C (250 °F) for two hours. This is the perfect amount for charging an 8" desiccator. No inventory to store! SELLER DOES NOT CONDONE NOR ENTERTAIN ANY COMMUNICATION REGARDING ILLEGAL USE OF THIS CHEMICAL. We gladly accept PayPal.
