This is a silica (also known as silicon dioxide or quartz) sputtering target, SiO2 99.995% pure. Certificate of analysis included. The dimensions are 2.00" diameter x 0.125" thick. It has been silver-epoxy bonded into an AJA "Powercup" backing plate. (This is the old-style backing plate, not to be confused with the current AJA "power-ring" style backing plate. Because it is an old-style backing plate, we are offering this as a surplus item at a substantial discount. If you happen to have an old-style AJA sputter gun, this is a great bargain for you. If you just want the backing plate and not the target, I will remove the target for you and clean the backing plate at no extra cost.
