Silicone Tri-Clamp® Screen Gaskets  are an excellent choice for use in production facilities for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, high-purity water, and food/beverage products. Silicone Sanitary Gaskets can withstand temperature extremes, radiation, corona, ozone exposure, moisture and steam. We recommend considering Silicone Gaskets when it is not feasible to use PTFE Gaskets due to severely misaligned fittings, or if the cost of high pressure clamps outweighs the benefits of PTFE (extended service life). Unlike PTFE, Silicone gaskets are very flexible at low temperatures. They are also odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and hygienic.
