From the Simplex Website: The simplex truestart instrument (TSI) is a portable, handheld instrument for verification of the correct installation of simplex devices and wiring to simplex circuits and modules. The Truestart is used to verify wiring, addressable devices, conventional zones (IDC) and signal circuits (NAC) before the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) is connected and commissioned . The Truestart instrument will help reduce project labor costs by checking installation wiring and device addressing, allowing the contractor to correct any faults BEFORE the simplex tech and fire alarm panel arrive on site. offered at $250 compare with brand new at $2600 make me an offer who knows i could accept.! Free shipping to lower 48 too. Unit powers up when power is plugged in. included is the AC adapter. the off button sticks and sometimes unit has to be unplugged. Unit has been tested and passed to check for devices and faults. Not sure how to further test this unit. Included are all the accessories shown in the photos. If you are this far into the description you probably know more about this unit than I do. As with any electronic testing device it is being sold AS IS. I can’t risk someone accidentally damaging unit and then trying to return it. Please review everything carefully and ask questions before you bid.
