These are bare stars no leds are included.   Available emitter foot prints: Cree XML, XML2 Cree XPG, XPG2, XPG3, Nichia 219 Cree XHP50 Cree XHP70 (16mm boards are custom.  20mm boards that are CNC machined down to size) The emitter is soldered DIRECTLY to the copper heat pad. . These are high quality, and preform well above standard aluminum MCPCBs.   Using these stars in combination with PROPER heat sinking emitters can be driven to significantly higher than rated capacity.  Output Gains are seen even at DOUBLE the rated drive current of emitters.    Output increases  are also achieved at standard 3A current.   16mm boards XM-L boards are sinkpad I all other boards are now sinkpad II tech.  Output graphs compare standard MCPCB with copper in controlled test (graphs thanks to BLF member Match). SinkPADTM is a PCB technology that makes it possible to conduct heat out of the LED and into the atmosphere in a faster and more efficient manner. While the primary focus of SinkPADTM technology is the rapidly evolving LED market, there are other applications for which SinkPADTM technology is an ideal candidate. SinkPADTM is dedicated to meet the customer’s demand by supplying SinkPAD TM technology products directly as per the design. Our goal is to continue the advancement of SinkPADTM technology and other creative intellectual property and to be a solution provider in the LED thermal management. The SinkPADTM promise is to reduce LED junction temperature allowing users to increase LED life, increase reliability, increase brightness, increase lumens per LED and reduce dollar per lumens and that is a promise SinkPADTM definitely delivers on.
