This is a true find! I have a vintage book titled Skiametry in Theory and Practice (dated 1911 and what appears to bea 1st edition but please review our photos) and what appears to be a vintage Schematic Eye Viewer. Based on what I can find this appears to be used for teaching in opthamology. Please review our photos as no other accessories or filters are included with the viewer. The device was altered with the addition of a low voltage light so that you could project light thru the lense which is not the original use of the device. The device also looks very much like early descriptions of a skiametry teaching device due to the fine gradations of focus that can be performed on the iris. The brass/chrome fittings and keen iris looks of a medical origin Please review our photos for condition. It is being sold as-is. What you see in the photos is everything that is included.
