Designed for the Professional Surveyor, the easy to use Sokkia SET3030R3 Reflectorless Total Station is ideal for any surveying application. Whether it be the tightest control survey, construction staking or boundary survey with 3 second angular accuracy and its rugged design the SET3030R3 is suitable for use in the toughest environments giving the benefit of not experiencing down time due to inclement weather. With on-board data collection capability, simple operations can be achieved by selecting the necessary functions, such as data collection, layout and memory manager routines from the main menu. A large easy-to-see LCD displays on each side of the instrument means you can shoot reverse angles easily. For enhanced operation in the field, the internal memory stores up to 10,000 points or data communication with a data collector is possible with the RS-232C interface port. SET3030R3 features compact flash card drive which will allow you to store virtually unlimited amount of point plus data transfer to a PC card reader is made simple. When using a single prism, you can measure as far as 16,000 feet at once, with an accuracy of ±(2+2ppm x D)mm. SET3030R3 employs an ultra small diameter visible laser to obtain measurements with pinpoint accuracy. Fine objects, as well as the corners of walls and other structures can be measured precisely. You can also make accurate measurements through obstacles such as chain link fences and tree branches. From extra long distances to remarkably short ones, SET3030R3 offers accurate long range reflectorless measurement up to 1,140 feet. Narrow visible laser beam is also used as a laser pointer; the EDM precisely measures the point the laser dot indicates. The SET3030R3 uses a precision internal triple-axis tilt sensor to provide automatic compensation for both vertical and horizontal angles to ensure superior accuracy even when the instrument is out of level.
