Sokkia heavy duty wood tripod is Sokkia Style heavy duty wood tripod is made of maple with aluminum hardware giving it extra durability. The hinges are self-adjusting and it has durable nylon bushings for smooth operation. The tripod shoes have large spurs and hardened steel replaceable tips. Wood tripods provides the most stable and less susceptible to expansion when exposed to the warming effects and also has excellent vibration damping characteristics. The tripod stands 72 inches at open height and 45 3/4 inches at closed height. It features a flat head with a 5/8 x 11" thread, built in carry handle, weighs approximately 17 lbs.
