SOLA S4K2U2000 UPS 2000va We bought this from a GM plant knowing full well it was going to need batteries. It was a stock/back-up/over-supply item that had sat for a long time in a distressed box. We opened it up to find a near mint UPS with bad batteries. We bought new batteries (see photo), installed and allowed it to run for 24 hours. Pulled the plug from the wall socket and the UPS did its job. We have now allowed this unit to run for 10 days with a load of electronics emulating computer/equipment power needs and occasionally pull the pull and let it run. It is operating exactly as it should and you will have no disappointments with this unit. Meanwhile, while it is waiting for its new home, we will keep it plugged in and running very small loads on it consistently. This will keep it dry and the batteries will remain at the peak performance. It is a HORSE and brutally heavy at around 70 pounds with the new batteries.
