This thermostat is normally open and closes on temperature rise. When the temperature reaches approx. 115 degrees Fahrenheit the thermostat will close and start your device such as a fan. When the temperature drops to around 90 degrees the thermostat will open again and stop the current going to your device. This thermostat works great for solar applications or anywhere you need to control heat around 115 degrees. Here are the specs: FEATURES: Bimetal disc thermostat, it can screw on to any metal surface Type: N.O.
