Up for auction is a 1/2-13 X 1" Inch Solid Brass Penta (5 sided) Head Security Bolt used for locking water line shut off access covers in your yard. This bolt is used but I cleaned it up on a wire wheel. This bolt has thicker threads at the bottom. This allows you to unscrew the bolt until it is almost out but then makes it hard to unscrew more. This way you can lift and spin the lid of the access cover without the cover coming off or the locking flange underneath from falling off. This also makes the bolt hard to start when first installing it. Just wanted to make you aware of this feature so you do not think the bolt is defective when you go to first use it.
