This is a working SolidScape MM2 / Model Maker II.  The heads have been rebuilt, but I do not know how many hours of operation are on them.  The vacuum is an aftermarket one.  It comes with an aftermarket home kitchen warming plate, monitor and zip drive.  The machine runs on DOS.  It was calibrated and inspected by Jim at Layer Grown models on December 18th, 2013.  It has been maintained and made it's last print in mid-September, 2014 (this year).  We haev decided to take our business in a different direction and we are selling off all of the equipment.  It is in great working condition. Modern printers with the same build size cost around $150k. It has a build area of 12" X 6" X 9". It uses wax as a build material and is the only printer on the market that does.  Solidscape is the only company that has printers like this.  A new one that is only a bit faster and self calibrating and runs on windows costs $30,000. Solidscape ( Solid Scape ) is also offering a $10,000 off credit towards a new 3X Max machine with the trade in of a an older machine like the MM2 or T66.  If you have any questions please let me know.  This item is also listed on craigslist.  I will not accept Paypal for this item. It can be paid for when it is picked up or I can run a credit card through Square over the phone.   If you would like it shipped, contact a local freight company in Atascadero or San Luis Obispo California about picking it up and shipment costs.  It weighs about 600-700 lbs.  I had it shipped from Nevada and it cost me around $550.  The shipping instructions I received from Jim at Layer Grown Models is shown below.  THIS IS A NON REFUNDABLE PURCHASE.  IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS.  Suggested Shipping Instruction: Cart:  Use previous instructions - stretch wrap, cardboard and straps The machine.  Secure jet carriage to the left side. I used foam pipe insulators from Home depot. about 10-12 inches long and wrap them around each steel rail. Use plastic2  tywraps to secure them to each rail. Put 1 3inch foam on rails near jets. One on one side of jet carriage and one on the other to keep jets from moving forward and back on smaller rails. 1 ty-wrap on each foam will hold it in place. Nothing else should be inside the MM2. (it bounces around) I would put the MM2 on a skid. Remove two plastic end doors (Lift off hinges with top smaller doors swung out of the way to allow bigger doors to slide up and off) Use the diagonal frame to pick up the machine onto the skid. Install two end doors again. Put a couple of straps over machine and thru skid slat to hold it down and in place. Tuck the stretch wrap around one of these straps to hold it and wrap the machine a few times. Add a couple of cardboard sheets to cover the plastic covers. I would put a 2nd cardboard box around the machine now Get a box from Uhaul and turn it upside down and if it over the machine. Strap it in place.  Put your name on it in three places and two signs in big letters, "NO TOP STACKING"  Done.
