This item is good cosmetically and powers up. Unit is from a VA medical center. It does not come or and will not include a power supply, however I have used a 12v power supply to power test it and it powers and the battery holds charge. I cant guarantee the life of the battery because i dont know how much and how long they VA used it bu it does hold charge. When i press "the" read button, it displays "E8" im guessing that's an error but i have 4 of these unit and they display the same thing. It may be something simple or whatever it is, it made know to you. I am not an expert, the unit is therefore being sold as-is. Please dont ask for any warranty. The only thing i can guarantee is this item not to have cosmetic damage when you receive it and not to be DOA. What you see in the pictures (unit with probe) is all there is, please make no assumption of anything other than what you see.
