There exists a shortage of trained network technicians to provide cyber security analysis of networks that are vulnerable to attack from hackers. What About Education? The majority of network technician graduates are hired by corporations to protect their networks from attack, and as a result-professionaly trained cyber security services are not available to small business and individuals. The Additional Problem Education has failed to incorporate curricula and courseware to address the situtation, and many of the graduating students are trained with popular mainstream software, in which Windows 10's release has contributed to the problem, because there are no network technicians tools available from Microsoft for students. The Summary This shortfall has been examined by our professional CISCO Network instructors who have recognized that the problem exists as a result of the lack of professional network tools, nor does education provide the appropriate curricula or courses to address this issue that threatens everyones cyber security. The Solution As a result a solution has been developed to address this issue, and the problem associated with the costs to students and technicians of acquiring the professional cyber security tools, and the cost of the equipment required. The Mission: In the past 6 years of the programs developed for students, education, business, and their communities, over a thousand computers have been returned to duty that assisted many young people, isolated communities cross the digital-divide to complete or further their education online, The Vision: The proceeds for the Cyber Security Warrior Program, are ear-marked to expand the program by purchasing additional units to allow expansion of the program, in other employable skills, with emphasis on inspiring students, and benefitting the community, with the belief that their actions will inspire other young people, to do the same. The Cyber Security Warrior Program adheres to the principles developed and approved by the Board of Directors for the Excellence in Education program and promoted a cooperative effort among community organizations to recognize students that demonstrate the willingness to adhere to a high standard that encourages academic excellence, and volunteerism in their community. How the Program Works: Students are nominated by instructors, professors, and teachers, which the board reviews and approves the distribution of the refurbished computers to the students, in recognition of their citizenship, academic achievement, and attaining the standards of the Excellence in Education program. The Excellence in Education program provides incentives for elementary, college, and university students to achieve their goals by volunteering on campus or in their community, and excel in their educational goals. The incentive of the program is designed to offer the opportunity to disadvantaged students, because many students could benefit, if they could have access to a computer in their home.
