It has a positive action brake to 0 RPM. Capacity of 6 x 500 ml with the GS-3 or SLA 3000 Rotor. It accepts 29 different rotors for all Sorvall superspeed, SUPRAspeed, and SUPER-LITE rotors. Including fixed angle, Swinging- bucket, Vertical, Zonal, and Continuous-flow. Allows for a variety of sample volumes. Refrigeration system is a hermetically sealed compressor, 1.49 kw (2hp), with a temperature range from - 20 degrees C to + 40 degrees... Electrical; 5200W 208V 25A 60Hz. Serial # SN 9603472 CONDITION Display works fine. Compressor starts up, runs for a while then kicks off, starts back up. Probably needs charged. We could not get the Rotor to start, but when we spun it by hand the display registered the RPM.. The handle for the cenrtifuge lid is missing. Unit rolls around easily.. Great for parts or fix whatever is wrong with it. Unit is not all beat up and has some minor cosmetic damage. Inside the panels are clean with no signs of electrical failure or fire. Pictures of the control panel are distorted some from background blur, although it is not real, real clear.
