For sale is a Sorvall Ultra 80 Centrifuge. Acquired from a university hospital surplus action. In good condition cosmetically. Unable to determine if it was in working condition and do not have the means to test it so functional status is unknown. Therefore it is being offered as-is for parts or repair.  No return/refund permitted. Does not include a rotor. It is very heavy, weighs approximately 1400 lbs. Dimensions: 42 inches wide X 32.5 inches deep X 36.5 inches to top of deck (45 inches to top of control panel. Expanded metal guard in back is crushed at corners, see photo.  However, damage is cosmetic only and components behind guard appear to be in good condition. If  interested, message me with your zip code and I will provide a freight quotation.  I have access to discounted freight rates so can ship relatively economically.  Unless you specify otherwise, I will assume delivery to be to a commercial facility with a loading dock.  If you require liftgate delivery, please tell me so as there will be an additional charge. Basic freight charge assumes strapping to a pallet, sheathing in cardboard, and wrapping with stretchwrap.  If you require more protection, such as a wooden crate, I am willing to do this for an additional $150 charge.
