Trailer mounted Southern Pride smoker for sale. Smoker is a Southern Pride model SPK 700 SLSE. The smoker was built in October 2000. The smoker was removed from a restaurant in Chicago by and HVAC contractor. While sitting in their storage yard, the unit was stripped of all easily remove parts. As such, and extensive number of genuine OEM Southern Pride parts were reinstalled to bring the smoker back to life. New parts are as follows: Main rotisserie drive motor, pulley, and belt. New Honeywell electronic gas valve. New Fasco burner induction motor. New burner door gasket. New convection motor and fan. New thermostat and circuit breaker. New smoke extractor exhaust fan which is mounted to a custom fabricated aluminum diamond plate housing. Also new are many of the exterior stainless steel covers. they include the main rotisserie drive motor cover, the main burner compartment cover, the convection fan motor cover, and the rotisserie main bearing cover. Also missing were the 6 stainless hangers and meat racks from inside the unit, and they were replaced with 6 stainless hangers and 18 brand-new 4' x 12" racks. And the unit was topped off with a chrome 7 inch diameter smoke stack. Whole hog roast system capable to roast 2 hogs at one time. New carousel foot feed advance. This smoker is mounted to a brand-new AMCO 16 foot tandem axle trailer with brake. The trailer deck is painted with rust oleum textured black deck stain. The smoker is welded to 2 mounting plates which are 3/8 inch thick by 6 inch wide plate steel. The plate steel is welded to the trailer frame on both ends and is through bolted to the deck. To make this unit competition or festival ready, a 4 basin stainless steel sink system was installed on the rear of the trailer in a custom made aluminum diamond plate cabinet. This system is complete with 35 gallons of onboard water, and a new eco-temp on demand tankless propane water heater. The water is pumped by a brand-new Sur Flo 3 1/2 gallon per minute RV pump. Also included is a 27 gallon portable RV gray water tank. On the front of the trailer is an aluminum diamond plate lockable storage box, as well as a custom-made aluminum diamond plate wood storage box and propane tank holder. The smoker is fed by 2-30 pound propane cylinders, and hard piped with half-inch black gas pipe to the smoker itself as well as the on-demand water heater. Also mounted on the trailer is a 4 foot stainless steel worktable and there is still plenty a room on the trailer for coolers or a small freezer or refrigerator. I was the owner of a successful meat packing plant and catering business, but have since retired with over 30 years of experience. I only use Southern pride smokers, because I believe they are the best, and have this one set up to be festival or competition ready. A set up of this quality would run approximately $35,000 new.
