Remanufactured Speed-Pak Vertical Baler Model VBAL-7242 We are a company dedicated to providing and servicing state of the art waste reduction and recycling equipment. Our many years of experience enable us to specialize in custom design and engineering, meeting the ever changing needs of our customers. Our Quick Cycle Speed-Pak Vertical Baler Model 7242 is designed and built to our stringent specifications. All of our Speed-Pak balers are made of structural steel and are constructed on jigs assuring accurate and consistent frames. They are built in compliance with ANSI and OSHA standards using UL listed components and are protected by a series of safety interlocks preventing unsafe or hazardous operation. This baler was built in 2003. We purchased it back from a customer that no longer needed it. We completely remanufactured it to include: rebuilt cylinder, rebuilt platen and fresh paint. The design of our Speed-Pak Baler is packed with impressive features: • 20 hp three phase 208/240/480 volt motor powers a massive 7” cylinder through a regenerative hydraulic system. This provides nearly 50 tons of force in an average cycle time of 29 seconds. That’s nearly twice as fast as a typical baler. • The charge chamber is 72” wide and 42” front to back, with a chamber depth of 44”. 1400 pound bales of cardboard are common. This results in less time spent tying and ejecting bales. Our feed opening is a full 27” giving us a total 147 cubic feet of chamber space! Spend less time running your baler and waiting for it to cycle and more time doing your business. Standard features include: • 54” cylinder stroke. This makes a dense bale from the bottom up. Not from the top down. • Tapered chamber walls and dual center dumps trays provide positive effortless bale ejection. • Complete power unit (motor, pump, all hydraulic components and hydraulic tank) are mounted on the side of the baler at ground level for easy service and inspection.
