New/Old Stock/Unused IN Sealed Original Factory Packaging Spirax Sarco Model 1440180 Main Valve Assembly with Float for 1/2"-3/4" FT14 Trap Spirax-Sarco float mechanism with float for 1/2" and 3/4" FT-14-10, 145 pound pressure, F&T traps. Float mechanisms allow condensate to drain from the trap. The mechanism is a lever and seat operation and is held in place by screwing the seat into the outlet port within the trap. With the float attached to this mechanism, the weight of the float keeps the lever down, in turn keeping the seat closed when steam is present. When the steam cools and turns to condensate, the trap fills causing the float to rise and open the seat allowing the condensate to drain. Please Note: The Original Factory Bags may have dirt, dust, tape and writing on them from storage. Please view the pictures for the condition of the actual unit being offered.
