Item up for sale is a: Spirent GSS6100 GPS/SBAS Signal Generator/Simulator Condition: Used. Used. Calibrated on 7/12/2011 and calibration is valid through 7/12/2012. Cal Certificate is not included. The unit was tested using GPIB control. The 3rd picture shows the signal from MON/CAL port when the Primary RF port level is set to -110dBm, and MON/CAL port level is set to -50 dBm (There is 60 dB difference between RF port and MON/CAL port) . The 4th picture shows the signal difference between MON/CAL port and front panel Primary RF Port. Because the Primary RF port output level is below the Spectrum Analyzer's range, we used an amplifier-chain to raise signal. Approx. 60 dB difference was observed, which indicates that the correct power level of the RF port. Output power level control was verified as Unit's hardware and firmware versions were read by GPIB commands, shown in the last picture. RS-232 Port was tested as well. The 10th picture shows the boot up messages read from RS-232 port. Softwareware simCHAN is NOT included. To our best knowledge, Spirent may not provide simCHAN for free. But this unit can be controlled using GPIB port or RS-232 port. Please note that one GSS6100 only simulates a GPS signal from one GPS satellite. The buyer will receive exactly the same unit in the pictures. The serial number is shown in the pictures. Any question, please feel free to send me a message.
