TeraMetrics modules feature an open architecture and support fully-featured, network-to-application layer network performance testing. TeraMetrics modules enable you to test applications beyond previous test realms. The copper-based, 2-port LAN-3301A supports rates of 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps. Each module is capable of simulating the millions of clients and servers required to fully test network systems. The LAN-3301A yields per-flow metrics for millions of IP flows used to assess the qualityof service provided by BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IP QoS, VoIP, DiffServ, and VLAN enabled devices. Each module is capable of full wire-rate traffic and analysis and complies with the 10Base-TX/100Base-TX IEEE specification in 10/100 Mbps mode and the IEEE 802.3z draft specification in Gigabit mode. 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet Copper, 2-port, TeraMetrics Stream-based, wire-rate traffic generation and analysis Supports autonegotiation Supports frame sizes of 40 to 16,384 bytes Ports are completely independent in operation Generates up to 512 independent IP streams (peer-to-peer) and analyzes up to 64K streams < TeraMetrics™ Extension Modules > Flash Memory Expansion PMC (ACC-3600A) for LAN-3301A, LAN-3302A, LAN3311A , POS-3505As/Ar, POS-3511A/As, POS-3519As/Ar Customers who need to run multiple Spirent or custom applications on TeraMetrics modules, may require additional Flash memory to store information.
