                   This tool lets you work smarter not harder           Have you  EVER  had to remove a stubborn, or broken spline key? If so you will LOVE this tool. This  is a SPECIALY  made pair of Vise grips with a slide hammer weight.      We have them made up specifically for removing stubborn spline keys, or for regular spline keys which become easyer to remove than with end nippers, ice pics, screw drivers Etc., Etc, Etc. They are appx. 4 to 5 inchs long and then formed to work down inside the driver cam if necessary.     The way it works is simple, the spline key is gripped with the vise grip tips then the slide weight is slammed against the end of the long bolt modified to work in the grip. Usually one, two or three good slams is all it takes, but for the really tightly stuck more might be required. Regardless, it's still better than trying to pry it out with ice picks, pliers, end nippers or other tools that could damage the spline key or drive cam and make the job even harder. Even if the flag is broken off the spline, just as long as you can grab part of the spline key you usually can get it out.      Anyone could probably make this tool on there own, but the material cost, and the time alone in modifying the vise grips, finding the material for the slide  and making the slide is a lot more than would be spent to buy the finished tool.
