New Style - In Black Powder Coated Aluminum Box. With Ludlum style C connector for combined HV and Signal. This listing is for one Custom Fabricated Splitter / Combiner by iRad, Inc. Similar to Ludlum Model 297, only better. Splitter / Combiner Box for Scintillation Detectors, in a Durable Black Powder Coated Aluminum Case. It's a must have device for every Rad Lab. The box allows you to combine a two cable detector, meter or device with separate Signal & HV, into a single cable with combined Signal and HV. Or it allows you to separate a single cable detector, meter or device into two cables that carry the signal and HV separately (bi-directional use, see last two pictures). This unit comes with Ludlum style C connector for combined signal/HV, and separates the signal and the HV to separate BNC connectors on the opposite side of the box. I use only High Quality C connectors, Amphenol (AMP) BNC connectors and High Quality Components in this device. Please see my other listings if you prefer a splitter Box with all BNC or an MHV connector for the HV (High Voltage) connection. I can custom fit other connectors upon request (please make request before purchase). Can be used with many Bicron & Saint-Gobain, Harshaw, Ludlum Alpha Spectra and other manufactures Gamma Scintillation Detectors and Survey Meters. Also works with many professional and DIY power supplies and MCA units. Not recommended for use over 1500V and 30mA (limitations of BNC only).
