For sale are 20 stabilite chucks to hold paraffin embedded tissues for microtomy. These chucks are new and almost "indestructible" and can be used time and again. In total there are 10 with an attach surface of 1 square centimeter; 9 with a 4 square centimeters surface and 1 with a surface of 30 square centimeters for "topographic" specimens. They can be attached to almost any modern microtome and specially for sledge microtomes. The the surface grooves are deep enough to assure an extremely strong hold on the paraffin block. Are resistant to all histology solvents and can be cleaned during the cleaning cycle of any modern tissue processor.
