This press was built by Spectrum Tool in Rochester NY for GM It came out of a fuel cell laboratory they shut down. It uses servo motors to drive the rams. The platen height is adjustable, the down height is 15" off the floor and up is 43" so it has 28" of stroke. The leveling feet also provide another 2" up or down. I'm not sure why the height is adjustable other than to load or unload the machine. The daylight is 48" with a 15" stroke on the ram. The platen is 48" x 28" and the distance between the posts is 39" It also has a load cell on the pressing ram, it should be calibrated. Last time it was done end of 2011 It has a jog mode and auto mode with adjustable speed. The pressing ram is running at 50% of speed down and 100% of speed retracting in the video, sorry its sideways. Kinda hard to watch. When I got this it had a bunch of other attachments for doing something specific. I took it all off to make a simple press out of it. I had to have a new program written to run it. I had a large local company do it, they were pretty reasonable as far as costs go. If needed they could customize it for you. Right now it runs press to position, you could add press to pressure. Right now you see the light curtains on the floor to cheat the system. It also has another set that go on the rear of the press. There is also a pallet of fencing that goes on the machine, you will have to figure that out. I think  its all there, I had a rigger take the machine down for shipping. It came on nine pallets, it was pretty easy to put back together and there wasn't a bolt missing. I'm pretty sure I could ship this in one piece on a double drop trailer.
