A ULPA filter can remove from the air at least 99.999% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airborne particles with a size of 120 nanometres (0.12 µm) or larger. Has the variable speed that works good and is pretty quiet when down low. Suction is strong. Comes with footswitch that works good. There is nothing wrong with this Filtration system. Unit has a Bio-med sticker that was good until July 2012. ULPA Filter Part # 24300 Catalog # ST-1800 Part # 24248 Serial # V 8156 Footswitch Part # 24067 with 10 foot long cord Electrical; 120V 60Hz 6A with 10 foot long hospital grade cord. Can be used with a remote control (not included) and I was not able to test this feature. CONDITION Has some minor cosmetic damage, but Unit runs well and has strong suction, even on low setting. Motor turns free with no unusual sounds and coasts to a stop. Variable speed (suction) responds very well. I do not know the exact condition of the filter, but appears fairly new.
