Staco heavy duty motorized variac. 12 vdc motor control. Unit removed from service in excellent condition. Variac has been load tested. Variac is 6-3/4" diameter. • Input: 90 - 132 vac • Output: 0 - 120v @ 20 amps • Dimensions: 7-1/8"H x 8"W x 11" deep • Weight: 35 lbs Although designed for 12 vdc operation, the motor will run at lower voltages with correspondingly longer rotation times. Viewed from the shaft end, rotation is clockwise with the red lead to positive, black lead to negative. Connections must be reversed to reverse rotation. There are no limit switches to stop the motor at the end of rotation. Power must be removed to stop. Rotation time may vary slightly in each direction. Motor draws less than 200 mA. The voltages and approximate times are listed below: Applied voltage Rotation Time 5v 10 seconds 7v 6 seconds 9v 5 seconds 11v 4 seconds 13v 3 seconds 16v 3 seconds
