# Staffordshire Porcelain Figurine Bacchus God of Wine and Intoxication c1870-1890 Staffordshire Porcelain Figurine Bacchus God of Wine and Intoxication c1870 Offered for sale is this Staffordshire Porcelain Figurine of Bacchus God of Wine and Intoxication.  It is believed this was made at the (William) Kent / (John) Parr Factory in Burslem (Stoke-on-Trent), Staffordshire, c1870-1890.  It portrays a jovial Bacchus sitting on a wine keg dressed in an open neck shirt and breeches with his coat draped over the keg.  He is holding a glass of wine, crowned with a wreath of grapes and grape leaves.  It is approximately 6 ¾ inches in height and about 5 inches across. This piece was acquired at a high end estate sale where nearly all items were quality antiques.
