The micrometer has 0.0001" graduations and precision of 0.00016". It has carbide-tipped measuring faces, a ratchet friction thimble, and a nut for locking the spindle in place. The dial calipers have a black-face dial indicator with 0.001" graduation increments and 0.100" travel per revolution. The calipers are made of stainless steel and have a nut for locking the jaws in place. The depth measuring base is a T-bar style base that attaches to the dial calipers' ruled blade to aid depth measurement and is 76.2mm long to span holes and recesses for stable measurements.
