Please note that the dust cover is a little worn around the edges and spine and also that there is the name of a previous owner and return stamp on the inside cover. This work was created to provides an in-depth study and standardization for fasteners and joiners to aid engineers and designers to enable them to unstained the scope of materials available and to give them necessary data for their tasks. Topics discussed include: an introduction to threads and functions, product specifications and considerations, design considerations, torquing and preloading considerations. The book is illustrated by drawings, images, charts and formulae. There is a table of contents, appendix and index for quick reference.
