The Stanley Best Fail Secure Electrified Lever Lock Request To Exit E i9KW37DEU15DS3626RQs an electrically controlled lockset that allows you to remotely control the locking and unlocking of the door from a separate device. This is a grade 1 lever handleset for doors that are 1 3/4" thick. This lockset allows you to unlock it only by turning on the power to the lock. Otherwise, the door is always locked. You can always leave the room, but to get in the room you need to either use a key or switch on the 24V DC that the lock uses. A request to exit lock has a normally open switch that provides momentary closure when the inside lever is rotated. As a grade 1 lever lock, it is designed to last through heavy use such as on a main entrance to an office. This lock also has a small format interchangeable core, which allows for easy switching of keys if the door's locks need to be changed.
