It is a real laser distance meter utilizing laser technology to measure distances, areas and volumes. Laser distance meters are highly accurate in comparison to sonic distance meters. It features a 1/16" accuracy at 100ft (600ft measuring range) as opposed to a 4" accuracy at 50ft common with sonic measuring devices.
