Star Micronics SP742 Ethernet Connect your Star Micronics SP742 to your Local Area Network (LAN) using an Ethernet interface card. The Ethernet cable is connected to the Ethernet interface card in the back of the printer to directly receive an IP address to route the printer packets from your POSLavu or other point of sale to the printer. The Star Micronics SP742 impact printer is built specifically to work in environments where heat and humidity can easily disintegrate the type on a kitchen order. This model is incredibly fast and efficient, offers crisp, easy to read type for quick viewing, clamshell design for easy paper loading and an embedded power supply for space efficiency, as well as two-color printing capabilities to take advantage of POSLavu's ability to print in black and red if needed. The Star Micronics SP742 was designed to make installation, utilization and maintenance as easy as possible for any user. The SP742 is ready to be used right "out-of-the-box". This Ethernet model is recommended for extra security and reliability. If you prefer to connect your printer to an Apple Airport Express to make it wireless, the USB model is easier to set up. This printer does not include an Ethernet cable, so make sure you add it to your order using the drop-down menu. Questions? Contact us at sales@servintech.net, or visit www.servintech.net.
