You are buying 1 (one) STARRETT  1000mm / 39+1/4" Long Spring-Tempered Satin Chrome Finish Scale with 36R Graduations. 36R Grad Scales have both Millimeter and Inch graduations.  THE SCALE THAT YOU RECEIVE WILL HAVE A SATIN CHROME FINISH Catalog number No. C636-1000 1000mm Long with 39+1/4" graduated  Spring-Tempered 1+1/4" Width x 3/64" Thickness The Front edges have "Quick-Reading" 32nd" and 1/2mm graduations.
