Here is a Starrett No. 196 dial indicator set with a Brown and Sharpe magnetic base No.7743 that are in very good used condition. These tools work very well together. They have been used so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder their usefulness. The Brown and Sharpe magnetic base is in excellent condition. You really have to look pretty hard to find any imperfections anywhere on It It "sticks" solidly to any flat steel surface. Everything slides around easily and locks down tight wherever you want it to. The fine adjustment feature helps make setting these tools up a breeze. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily with just a turn of the lever. The Starrett No. 196 dial indicator set is also in very good used condition. The dial moves easily without any hesitations and always returns to "0". Smooth! There is a few scratches on the clear plastic lens but it is still easily readable. The attachments let you set up these tools in a variety of different ways. Everything will work perfectly for you! I guarantee it!
