This is a Starrett No.278 V-Block Set with Clamps, 1" Diameter Capacity, Numbered Matched Pair, Hardened and ground, 1-1/4" Square, 1-5/8" in Length. The V's are ground central, parallel and square to the ends and sides. The block has a tapped hole through the side so that it may be attached to an angle plate by a 1/4-20 thread.  Used in very good condition, shows light wear, and light staining, no box. One of the Clamp screw knurled head has a grind mark on it, see last picture. EDP No.51312. Made in USA. I will combine shipping where I can, visit my store for other items of interest.
