Here is a Starrett No. 436 - 2" to 3" outside micrometer that is in excellect condition. It has been used so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. I point out this minor imperfection in the 4th photo. It is just a little piant chip. Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice barely used micrometer. There are no initials or engravings anywhere on it. The thimble spins easily without any hesitations. Smooth! The lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. There is a 2" standard and a small wrench for making minor adjustments. The red plastic protective box has done a very good job of protecting this micrometer. It opens and closes easily, snaps shut, and holds these tools securely.
