Here is a Starrett No. 436 - 4" to 5" outside micrometer that is in excellect condition. It has been used??? Obviously not very much. You have to look pretty hard to find any imperfections anywhere on this micrometer. There are no initials or engravings anywhere on it. The thimble spins easily without any hesitations. Smooth! The lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. This micrometer is still very accurate as well. This is demonstrated by Starrett standard in the last photo. This standard is not included. The cardboard protective box has done a very good job of protecting this micrometer. It has some scratches, scuffs, and other minor imperfections suffered from doing its job. It is still solid and will continue to protect your micrometer for many years to come. A small wrench for making minor adjustments and some of the original paperwork is included, Please take a look at all of the photos as they can help in describing the item better than I can.
