Up for sale is a used L S Starrett No 449 micrometer depth gauge, with rods & case. It has a 2 1/2" base. It has a ratchet stop, but it does not work. It measures thousandths of an inch. It is in good condition. It comes with 4 flat rods, 9, 8, 5", the one installed in the mic seems to be about 2". Very faint on the back of the base is engraved c c m. The spindle rottes a little stiffer than most mics I've had, it may need cleaned & lubed. The case in in good condition, with a dirty & worn outside. Take a close look at the pics.
