You are now visiting Santa’s summer house at New Psybertron Prime! …a little-known outpost in the Milky Way galaxy This listing is for: A nice used The L.S. Starrett Co. Athol, MASS U.S.A. NO. 123 E&M - Hardened & Stabilized Master Bar: The 2 screws that lock the caliper & that lock the micro adjustment feature are missing. The corresponding threaded holes are CLEAN. It appears not to bent or ground or damaged but there is not a 100% TIGHT closure at the front most tip. This is the portion that is approximately 3/8" long. The space itself spans approximately 1/8". When I examine this portion the finish on the blades at that point matches the finish along the entire length of the blade. That leads me to believe it is not ground. I see no bends. The letters A2 are inscribed in 3 places on the back of the caliper along with the number 26 & the word Starrett on the back of the caliper head. Please refer to the pictures for a better depicted explanation including other features and wear of this fine, fine piece. You cannot buy wrong if you are buying Starrett! It's GUARANTEED ! Other than noted it is in very good condition. A proud piece for any machinist or tool & die maker. The box is in beautiful condition! This is a total deal, buy it before it is too late.
